Armani Young Blog Post #1 Personal Event

The event that I attended was sign senior happy hour last night at sign of the whale. The event was a farewell to graduating seniors who attend the university. They had drink specials and giveaways if you were a senior. The event was located on 18th and M street close to the campus. There was a huge turn out and a lot of seniors showed up.  The line was long and the wait time to get in was about 3-5 minuets in line. The process of checking ID's can be time consuming. Luckily it was a nice night last night and waiting outcome wasn't too bothersome. I was able to see many of my friends there and it was a nice destress from finals. Per usual it was super cramped and a packed house. Although the bar can't expand their space they can open the upstairs part to allow for more guest to have space. Im assuming they have it closed a majority of nights because of lack of staff. They currently only have about 2 to 3 bar tenders at both of the bars in the establishment which causes a lot of backed up bar traffic. I suggest they hire more bar tenders and it will get drinks to guest faster.
