Armani Young Post #2 Industry Event

The event I attended was a webinar from a TED talk review. The webinar was actually interesting and insightful. I was amazed at how many people were streaming along with me. PCMA was the host of the 7 Actionable Conference Design Insights. It was very interactive verses just informational. I really appreciated the Less is more concept of the webinar. I am a firm believer that less can sometimes be better. Having a short meeting and hitting key points is better than having a long meeting that has nothing to do with anything. It was also good to listen to background about TED and receive some data. About 1.5 million people download a TED talk each day. Thats a remarkable amount of downloads. Another main point i liked in the webinar was the speaker speaking about trade shows. I really like trade shows and conventions because they allow people of the same interest to indirectly  meet and network. People go to trade shows because they are interested in whatever is being presented. Simultaneously, they will naturally meet others that are there for the same thing. This connection between individuals can lead to something beyond the trade show. I felt that this webinar was very insightful and glad I attended.
