Alec Post #1 Event Related Experience

For my first post I would like to take the chance to talk about an event I attended that I was unable to use for my final presentation as someone had already claimed it. I attended the DC Beer Festival with a few of my friends and it was one of the best experiences that I have had being in DC. The event was held on April 16th, 2016 and was at the Washington Nationals baseball stadium. The event was well organized and had plenty of things for guests to do and participate in. There was live music and by going with a group of friends it made the experience all the better. The event was a great way to expose locals to the depth and variety of the local breweries in the DC Metro area.  Many of these places were very small local breweries which gave the event a more local feel as it was not controlled by a large well known brewery like Budweiser or Coors. With all of the food options to be paired with some of the best tasting beers I've ever had the three hours they gave you to taste felt to short, but that may have been the only flaw. It was an awesome event and I would recommend it to any person of legal drinking age.
