Prequel Launch Party

On February 18th 2016 Prequel teamed up with RJ Whyte productions to launch their new space to hold beautiful events. Their new building on F Street, in the heart of the always bustling Chinatown, was originally an office building for the company Living Social. When Living Social moved Prequel came in and remade each office space into beautifully designed rooms to hold events as well as a state of the art kitchen on one of the many floors.

Walking into the event their was already a feeling of elegance mixed with a modern edge. After being greeted at the front, I was brought up to the top floor (there are 5) and ushered to make my way down at my leisure. Each floor, each room had a different feel. I could picture a hosting a fundraiser in one and a gala in the other.

On each floor their were also many vendors. From DJ's showing their skills to be booked for future events, to technology companies selling communication devices so that staff can stay connected. There was even an artist doing live work throughout the event.

Each floor also showcased some beautiful and delicious food and drink. This event showed a beautiful space but also connected the attendees with some great vendors. I event spoke to someone who works with the American Heart Association and she told me she loved the venue so much that she was already planning a black tie fundraising gala there in the future.

The event had a very nice flow, once you got through the slight bottleneck in the beginning heading upstairs. There were people in every room, on every floor to answer your questions, and the check in process was fast and easy.

*(I did not use my own photography because it did not capture the event like Alexander did. I was sent the photos post event.)
